For most of us, as the season changes, so does our home decor. One simple way to make your home feel more welcoming, inviting and fresh during this spring season is to spruce up your front porch.
Spring updates to your front porch and outdoor living areas aren’t difficult either. All you need are a few cheery items to really brighten up the space. Here are 5 simple tips to get your front porch spring ready.
Tip #1 - Adding potted flowers to different sized watering cans creates a sweet vignette with varying heights and textures.
Tip #2 - Faux flowers work just as well if not better than live flowers. They tend to fair better in our high Nevada winds, plus you don’t have to water them!
Tip #3 - Don’t shy away from bright and cheerful colors. Spring is all about fresh blooms. Use those yellows, pinks and purples you might not normally use inside your home.
Tip #4 - Using neutral black and white furniture on your porch gives you freedom to add any accent color and have it pair perfectly.
Tip #5 - Looking for unique items to add character to your front porch? Raid your garage or tool shed for a vintage front porch feel.
Still missing that special something for your front porch? Spring into the season at our French Gardener Pop-up. The shop is blooming with rustic vintage finds and garden decor! - April 16-18.
